Our systems team brings certified engineering expertise to every project, ensuring that all installed systems meet the relevant UAE authority requirements – including SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) guidelines for surveillance and security systems, UAE Civil Defence requirements for fire safety systems, and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) standards for data and communications infrastructure.
CCTV Surveillance Systems
A professionally designed and installed CCTV system is one of the most effective deterrents to criminal activity and one of the most valuable tools for incident investigation when it occurs. Riviera Services designs and installs scalable, high-definition CCTV surveillance systems for all property types and risk profiles – from a single-camera residential installation to a multi-site, enterprise-level surveillance network with centralised remote monitoring.
Our CCTV systems use industry-leading IP camera technology, supporting resolutions from 2MP to 8MP (4K), with advanced capabilities including wide dynamic range (WDR) for challenging lighting conditions, infrared night vision, video analytics, motion detection, facial recognition, and licence plate recognition (ANPR) where required. All installations are designed to comply with SIRA guidelines governing surveillance system deployment in Dubai.
Camera placement is planned using site surveys and coverage mapping to eliminate blind spots and ensure that all critical areas – entry and exit points, car parks, corridors, reception areas, and perimeter boundaries – are comprehensively covered. Access Control Systems

Our access control installations support a comprehensive range of credential technologies including proximity card readers (RFID), biometric readers (fingerprint, face recognition), PIN keypad entry, and mobile credential solutions. For facilities requiring integration between access control and HR or payroll systems, we implement time and attendance modules that provide accurate, automated attendance recording alongside security access management. Visitor management systems – including digital visitor registers, temporary badge printing, and host notification – are available for reception and lobby areas.
Automatic boom barrier systems for vehicle access control at car parks, loading bays, and gated residential compounds are also provided, integrated with access credentials or intercom systems as required.
Fire Alarm & Safety Systems
Fire safety systems are not optional – they are a fundamental legal and moral obligation for every property owner and facility manager in the UAE. The UAE Civil Defence Authority mandates the installation and periodic maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in all commercial, industrial, and residential buildings above certain occupancy thresholds. Non-compliance carries severe legal consequences, and more importantly, inadequate fire safety systems put lives and property at risk.
Riviera Services supplies, designs, installs, tests, and commissions fire alarm systems in strict compliance with UAE Civil Defence requirements and relevant international standards (BS 5839, NFPA 72). Our fire alarm installations incorporate addressable fire detection panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, audible and visual alarm devices, and emergency lighting – all interconnected and tested to ensure rapid, reliable response to any fire event.
For facilities requiring more comprehensive fire protection, we also coordinate the installation of fire suppression systems, emergency voice evacuation (EVAC) systems, and full building fire safety management integrations. All fire alarm systems installed by Riviera are commissioned with full Civil Defence documentation and include Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) options to ensure that testing, inspection, and certification requirements are met consistently throughout the system’s operational life.
ELV & Structured Cabling Systems
Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems form the intelligent infrastructure layer of any modern building – enabling communication, monitoring, automation, and control across all other building systems. Riviera’s systems team provides end-to-end design and installation of the complete ELV infrastructure that contemporary facilities require, including structured data and voice cabling networks, public address and voice evacuation systems, intercom and door video systems, building management systems (BMS), network infrastructure and server room fit-out, and audio-visual system integration.
Our structured cabling installations follow TIA/EIA 568 standards and support Cat6, Cat6A, and fibre optic backbone configurations capable of meeting current and future bandwidth demands. All cabling installations are tested, certified, and documented with test reports upon completion. BMS integrations allow facility managers to monitor and control HVAC, lighting, energy consumption, and security systems from a single centralised platform – improving operational efficiency and enabling proactive fault detection and energy management.
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
The installation of a security or building technology system is only the beginning. All technical systems require regular preventive maintenance, periodic testing, and prompt fault response to maintain reliable performance and, where required, regulatory compliance. Riviera Services provides comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts for all systems we install, as well as for existing third-party installed systems that require professional ongoing support.
Our AMC programmes include scheduled preventive maintenance visits, system performance testing, component inspection, software updates, 24/7 emergency fault response, and priority access to our technical team. All maintenance activities are documented in service reports, providing an auditable maintenance history that satisfies regulatory inspection requirements and protects the client in the event of any insurance or liability inquiry.
