Water Tank Cleaning
Dubai Municipality regulations require all buildings in the emirate to have their water storage tanks cleaned and certified at minimum once per year – with more frequent cleaning mandated for buildings with higher occupancy or increased public health risk, including healthcare facilities, hotels, schools, and food service operations. Our water tank cleaning process begins with a pre-clean inspection to assess the tank’s condition, access requirements, and current contamination level. We then drain the tank completely, removing all residual water and any accumulated sediment. The tank interior is then subjected to high-pressure jet washing to remove all deposits, biofilm, algae growth, and scale from walls, floor, and ceiling surfaces. Following physical cleaning, we apply an approved biocidal disinfectant solution – allowed to dwell for the manufacturer-specified contact time before being thoroughly flushed – to eliminate all bacterial and biological contamination. A post-clean inspection and, where required, water sample collection is carried out to verify cleanliness before the tank is returned to service.
